the body-aware position

The body-aware position is a fundamental position in PainYoga. To assume this position, adjust your center of gravity by leaning your body a few degrees forward. This will help you achieve balance from your toes to your neck. However, be cautious as you perform this exercise to avoid inflammation of your Achilles tendon. You can further improve this exercise by closing your eyes, which will help you focus on your balance.

As a tip, it's essential to start your day on the right foot. Therefore, establish a morning ritual to gain understanding from any mental debris that may pop up in your mind upon waking up. Use this understanding to let go of any negative thoughts and have a fully aware and productive day.

the Yoga with your Pain

Life is inherently designed for growth, and we already have everything we need to grow within ourselves. We don't need to understand how to grow every aspect of our body because it is nature or life that takes care of it. The key is to accept the pain that comes with growth, whether it is physical or mental pain, and embrace it to move forward in our environment or even find a new environment to grow in. By stepping out of our comfort zones, we navigate through the unknown and explore our potential. Of course, we have control over how much pain we want to experience and the ego might resist when it recognizes the potential for growth. If there is already pain in our body, we can slowly work through it and learn to listen to our body's specific needs. Starting with the spine is essential, but we must be gentle with it. We must always remember that without learning from our pain, it will not resolve. Pain often comes from misunderstanding, and the most critical aspect to understand is that life is all about growth, always and everywhere.

Boredom is also a pain, a very nasty one, but probably the most rewarding, if you share it with your body. Boredom is only an interpretation of your mind and it can suck out all the energy out of your body to a point that you feel nothing within your body anymore. Your mind can't solve boredom alone, just let it go and give the energy back to your body, then you will get the inspiration and motivation to get your life exciting again. Even when your body becomes painful again, it's still better than boredom.

the strong mind

To build up mental strength, try imagining lifting a tree with your mind. While this may seem impossible, the challenge can help you tap into your inner strength and potential for growth. However, be careful not to overdo it, as this exercise can cause significant stress to your brain. When you've reached your maximum strength and are unable to build up any more mental pressure, you'll know that you've tapped into your unlimited strength. As an expert in this area, I recommend this exercise for anyone looking to develop their mental resilience.
